CNET Editors' review
Automating backups for your most important files and folders doesn't have to be difficult or time-consuming thanks to this comprehensive program. We found it once of the best backup programs we've seen.
Automatic Backup Pro uses a step-by-step guide that walks you through the process of backing up your files. As soon as we clicked the Add Profile button, we were asked to select a profile type for backup (files and folders, My Documents, Outlook Express, etc.), select a destination folder, and finally, configure the scheduling. We were able to completely customize our own backup schedule, choosing to back up on a monthly, daily, and even hourly schedule. We were also able to pinpoint a specific time. We opted to backup our My Documents folder to our USB. Once we saved our profile, our backup went on without a hitch. If you don't want to wait for the next scheduled backup, the program includes a Run Now feature that will immediately perform a backup using the selected profile settings.
Help is available through preset FAQs and a Help menu. It also comes with an ample, 30-day trial period. But thanks to this program's easy navigation, users of all skill levels will find it a worthwhile backup program.
Publisher's Description
From AutoBAUP:
Auto Backup is an easy-to-use file backup and sync tool, it is designed to backup data to external hard drive, USB disk, network or any other storage device, perform scheduled increment file backup, full file backup and bi-directional folder sync tasks. Auto Backup can produce multi-version, backup files at different times (such as Backup1 on Monday, Backup2 on Tuesday). The files in the destination folder are readable (not compressed to a single file), and also has a side-by-side folder comparison feature, so that it is easy to check and make sure the backup files are ok. Intuitive interface makes it easy to use, Simply tell it which files to backup, where and when to back them up, then Auto Backup reliably backs them up in the background, using very little system resources. Automatic scheduling includes specific days of the week, days of the month, hours of the day or any desired time intervals. E-mail notification let you know the backup status anytime and anywhere.

"Finally a flexible back up program for everyone"
Version: Automatic Backup Pro 9.8.13
Pros
I can back up what I want and when I want. Pick what folders you want to back up and where they are to go.
Cons
The purchase process is a bit unique. You don't receive a key but instead a link to the a full function program.
Summary
This is the first back up utility that I've run across that allows multiple unique back up profiles to run during the week. With this program I can now automatically send important documents and pictures to multiple locations during the week. Other programs may have this feature and I missed it, but that's the point, this program is easy to understand.
