• One of the Best Screen Recorder I have ever used.

  Pros

  Very Easy to use. 7 ways to record that can't go wrong. You can put in the Stand By mode and press your hotkey (any F key or combo) to start and stop. The Pro has something called auto-stop and recurring are good that I use it monitor something on my PC. The ScreenZoom is a handy tool that you can press a hotkey on your keyboard and it zooms. Then you can draw something right away on the screen. It's great for my presentation. I checked it works on XP all the way to Windows 8.

  Cons

  Because I use it record Youtube videos, wish it had a Youtube size recording.

  Summary

  This is an amazingly well designed recording piece. It's by far the most user friendly amongst the recorders I've used. I've used about 2 years now, and I'm very happy with the program!

  Capture quality is horrible. Like old days gifs. Not easy to use. Not many options. Worst part: Tried to unistall it and doesn't unistall. So now I have this useless program in my computer forever.

  Easy to use interface, does what it says it does, the person who said it dosent record is wrong... It does quite well. records in specified areas and highlights the area its recording!

  Cons

  a little poorly written i think, I think it could of been writtin much smoother, cpu process takes quite a bit due to how its written, so does slow your computer. I think other than that it is a good program.

  It has an easy to use user interface, fast recording and with flexable choices. Video quality is pretty good. <p>Love AutoScreenRecorder 2.1 Pro, a great product!

• It did not work as a screen recorder. It did nothing. It did not uninstall.

  It did not record anything. <p>Whatever it was doing was processor intensive. <p>It slowed my machine down that made it almost impossible to use the program I was trying to record <p>Sound recording does not appear to be availble in this version <p>The help file did not help. <p>There is no video demo file! <p>It did not uninstall itself when I used the supplied uninstall option.

  Pros

  runnin XP w decent ram... has potential 100% quality of pic... this would be good for trainin kinds of things & might catch some types of embedded video. In this case only caught the frame & the advancing pin/button of the news advancing, not the sound & not the news clip
