    December 11, 2011  |   By bigbobber29

Version: AutoRun Disable by Endpoint Protector 1.0.0.6

    Pros

stops everything coming in! dead in its tracks

    Cons

if your not careful will stop everything else too in your computer! lol i put it on a friends computer and it stopped everything!!! yikes had to go in safe mode (shutting off the computer and turning it on and off, bringing up the command screen)and uninstalling it through advanced system care! then going very carefully and making sure it was not going to lock up the system

    Summary

not bad program but make sure you know how to undo it, ad make sure if you cant restore your computer or hit wrong buttons do the f8 key and bring up safe mode. make sure you read what you want too stop it! and get yourself Advanced system care, it has alot of good things one is a uninstaller and it will wipe out the program like it was never their and everything else with it! then start over! but like i said: MOST IMPORTANT READ BEFORE YOU HIT OK SO IT DOESN'T STOP EVERYTHING!!!

"Looked for the best App to disable Auto-run on Win7."

    October 20, 2010  |   By Carl_Hill95

Version: AutoRun Disable by Endpoint Protector 1.0.0.6

    Pros

Lets you choose what you want to disable. Auto-run is not disabled for all device types. Great is, it also disables autorun for specific drive letters. Haven?t seen that before.

    Cons

None so far. Maybe that an antivirus would make it even more secure.

    Summary

I can only recommend this app, especially since it's free. I use it also in our company to disable autorun for USB and CDs.

    Cons

Don?t have any cons so far

    Summary

I like it because it gives me more control over all these devices since at least now I can scan them before they might spread a virus in my laptop!
