What's new in this version:
Version 3.26 adds support for Microsoft Windows 7.
I didn't like the fact once I loaded the video I wanted every thing was fine. However once I loaded the music I wanted, saved it, then played it the music I loaded overshadowed the voice's. Seems you can't load one without the other interfering, I was in a rush to finish the product for a friends surprise birthday party.
This program is fairly easy to use. The "Assistant Director" is good for getting started. Text boxes on the titles can be moved to where you want, unlike Windows Movie Maker.
The program doesn't have the tools I was hoping for.
The program is similar to Windows Movie Maker. The effects and tools are almost identical. This doesn't have the more complex tools and abilities I was hoping for. This is something that I was able to grasp fairly easily, but have to do extra work in other programs just to get the effects that I want. I would recommend this for those just starting out with making their own movies, but, if you want something more advanced, this is not for you...

After further use, I chose to discontinue my use of the program. It is simply too difficult to work with the tasks that I am looking for in the video I am attempting to create. I have gotten a few good ideas from working with AMC, but do not feel it has the compatability I was looking for...
This program had a lot of potential, with plenty of choices of presentation, transitions and formats. I really liked the 'assistant director' idea and it found it very helpful.
I had a lot of trouble with the program just disappearing when I was in the process of importing both photos & video. I found this extremely frustrating as I was planning to purchase it to put together a film of my fathers 80th birthday celebration.
