  Pros

  it crashed my computer as well, i had to use a wired mouse and keypad to navigate safe mode since the optical mouse and keyboard would not work. in safemode i found that all the system restore files were deleted and not even the first restore point was there. after navigating safemode i was able to restore some functionality of the system however the computer prompted me to install my old set up CD for "dc3d.sys", the system is older so i miss placed set up cd but was forwarded to microsoft to have them either mail CD or to download file and burn on hard CD since internet connection program along with a majority of the software programs do not work but the system will read a program off cd and manually install. this is a complete time eater, either spend the money and get emergency restore cd program in store, hire tech, or learn more about the computer-i chose the later

  The programmer who wrote this software should get an award for "how to screw up someones computer"-i have installed 100's of programs on my system this is the first and only one that caused so much havoc and pushed the mental fabric of my brain into different angles

  If you try to decline their product after downloading trial version they'll give you a 3 day free trial of the whole program. It worked fast, claimk g to have found & fixed 450 errors on a brand new system less than 1 wk old.

  Evidently they weren't real errors. Thank G-d I have Norton Go-Back + I set a restore point b4 using PC Optimizer Pro. Was able 2 get things up & running but not w/o a LOT of problems. Vital drivers & dLLs were removed & erased. Still finding prblms

  I should?ve remembered the rule that anything that sounds too good to be true usually is. What?s also true is you get what you pay for. The fact they gave me a 30 day 'free' trial of the whole program when I declined buying it & wanted to get rid of the teaser program should've warned me, but hey, I was tired & stupid. I didn?t need the blasted thing, after all; my computer was running perfectly. The keyword there is WAS. Anyway, I loaded PC Optimizer Pro onto my nice new Dell and right after letting it ?clean? my system my computer went haywire. Within seconds it froze solid. I had to do a forced shutdown. Then, I couldn't get the computer restarted and when I finally did I found I?d lost my audio, PCI bus and six other drivers. Even the BIOS had been damaged! I wasn't totally stupid: I did set a restore point before installing this piece of crap and had GoBack on, but even with those some vital items couldn't be restored or located. At least GoBack got me back into Windows ? but I still had a LOT of problems to solve. Thanks to a rookie mistake of trusting what?s basically a glorified Shareware program I?m spending this last decent weekend in November on Dell?s support site downloading driver after driver and running Windows? repair. I STRONGLY recommend you AVOID this rotten program! About the only thing it?s good for is as a learning tool: reminding those of us who think we?re clever that even the best of us can make really DUMB mistakes when we get greedy and want something for nothing. I intend to notify Trend Micro that the PC Optimizer site should be marked as DANGEROUS DOWNLOAD,. Anything so others won?t find themselves in my situation.

  Deleted my Hardrive from my system.. resorted to re-intall OS. Unfriendly and neophyte Support from website blaiming hardware which is perfectly running after reinstall. Lots of PC optimizer better than this one.

  I used it once and it cause big problems to my PC. Windows now need 7 minutes to load every time and many other programs no longer runs. very bad experience.

  i have windows xp home edition installed on my laptop. ever since i used the "Clean Junk Files Tool, Registry cleaner Tool, Find and Fix Invalid Shortcuts Tool" my computer has started to crash more often than it was previously. i tried to use system restore but it was also not working , later on i found that "Find and Fix Invalid Shortcuts Tool" had deleted my system restore files, then i had norton antivirus 2005 installed on my computer so whenever norton would load now it would show an error that norton 2005 doesnt supports an repair option so please uninstall and reinstall, and i have been not able to correct this problem coz i dont know which settings has ur software changed in my computer, also when i try to run any microsoft office 2003 professional edition application like word powerpoint i cant do it normally coz now windows installer starts instead of it and it asks for some non exitent file and then crashes, thankfully i was able to undo some of its action by using ur rescue tool option and undoing watever the sotware had done. but the norton eroor still remained the same and a new problem started now before some application loads i get a msg. that asks me for my ofiice 2003 cd and i have to cancel it 5 times before the application really runs. ALL THIS HAPPENED AFTER I INSTALLED asmw pc optimizer pro v 7.7 ON MY LAPTOP INSTEAD OF INCREASING MY COMPUTERS PERFORMANC IT HAS SLOWED IT DOWN.

  This software that seems to be very nice from the outside actually destroys all the important settings required to run your pc smoothly disabling or destroying most of the applications it makes your pc unbootable. This results in a complete erase of all data and let me tell you there is no solution to the destruction caused by this software except for the installation of a newer windows system.That is passing through a big hastle of updating it again.Very destructive software designed to make people a fool!

  Pros

  I started using this from version 5.0, when i got it from Windows XP official magazine. By the way, this is a good suite that has an effective internet optimizer and cleaning softwares. Better than average.
