Pros: This free tool finds and removes many spyware and adware infections.Fast scanning and removal of spyware and adware.Easy to use interface.Updates daily and great antispyware to use.
Cons: Dosen't provide a realtime protection.

Pros: very fast scan...
Cons: Shows a lot of installed items (like HijackThis) but they give them "spyware-like" names. Since I knew I needed these items I put them on the ignore list. On subsequent scans the same items kept popping up even though they were supposed to be IGNORED. I'll give this a two-star rating and two-thumbs down.

"Quick scan found 3 spywares(hmm or did they?)"
Pros: Free, nice looking and quick scanning
Cons: After I downloaded it, my Trendmicro Antispyware was going mental, as my hosts files were being added to rapidly.I was constantly clicking to deny.Anyway, this software found three spywares, including xxxtoolbar and 2 others, so I thought False positives (again) I cleared them and got rid of them from my quarantine, so all was clean and removed, by this time I still had a lot of alerts telling me my hosts files were being added to non stop.
I uninstalled Arovax Antispyware, and all the alerts stopped from Trendmicro.Then, me being me decided to download Arovax again,ran a scan and guess what? It found the same three spywares(tut tut) including xxxtoolbar.I know I havent got these.So in my opinion, these are false positives, and then my Trendmicro Antispyware was alerting me again about my hosts files being altered/changed..
I had no choice but to delete Arovax Antispyware from my pc.You make your own minds up folks, but mine was made up after trying it the second time.

"it found stuff windows defender didn't find!"
Pros: here's the thing: i used windows defender before using this and defender missed 25 files (cookies) of adware/spyware from doubleclick, adddynamix, valueclick, bluestreak, statcounter, and others that arovax found immediately!!! let's review now...
1-short and quick download
2-easy to use: pick where you want scanned.
3-list pops up after scan; choose who gets kicked out your pc or quarantine them.
4-it's free.
