AptEdit Pro is the Swiss Army Knife of code editors. AptEdit Pro can launch very quickly, almost instantaneously. The ideal text editor, HEX editor, HTML editor and terminal editor for Windows. It offers many powerful features to view and edit just about any text or binary file, and it's an excellent source editor for Web page authors, developers, and programmers.

AptEdit Pro can be installed on FLASH or other portable drives. All user configurations are saved in the portable drive. You can carry AptEdit Pro with you wherever your travels or business take you and run it on almost any computer.

Version 5.3 build 415 added option to find or replace text in selected text, added option to print the text ruler when printing, optimizes the syntax highlighting for C/C++, and includes bug fixes.

What's new in this version:

Version 5.4 selects columns from the active line to the file end while dragging mouse on text ruler. Add feature "Default Syntax Highlighting" to set a default syntax type. It is used for these files that cannot match an existing syntax highlighting file type.
