CNET Editors' review
This application tests proxy servers for anonymous Web surfing, but it fails to detect a working proxy server from its own list. The trial version of Anonymous Guest Professional downloads with 60 proxy servers to choose from. The program's interface is simple and includes some odd, surly choices to dress it up. Like other online privacy applications, it provides the means to conceal your true IP address with a proxy server, but during testing, it couldn't find a single proxy server to use from the list given, labeling each bad. However, we were able to insert a proxy from a TXT file that proved good. Anonymous Guest Professional includes a Service Manager to connect to the remote server using a chain of proxies. Though you'll still need to configure your system settings to connect to the Internet, you also can delete and save your list of good proxy servers. If you're in the market for a proxy verifier, this one handles the task decently.Publisher's Description

"No Good"
Version: Anonymous Guest Professional 1.51
Pros
None.
Cons
It does not work. "Help" is poorly written. Given that, dared not try contacting support. Too bad for it appeared useful for my purposes since I frequent forums and often get banned.

"Works great for SOCKS4."
Version: Anonymous Guest Professional 1.51
Summary
Installed and configured the basics very quickly. Set up and works great with IRC. Just follow the help instructions. Not quite the same success with HTTPS. Help contains directions for setting up specific software IRQ, Outlook, etc. were easy to follow and accurate.
