From Araki Software:
AmazingMIDI transcribes music automatically by converting WAV files into MIDI files. It can handle both monophonic and polyphonic music. It's a powerful tool that helps you transcribe music, practice musical instruments, make MIDI files, and so on. This update contains support for installation and removal and adds a Play Output File check box.
I have since removed the offending search bar from my add-ons and changed my FireFox settings to default but now everytime I try to search for something in the URL bar (not the search bar to the right of it) I am taken to Funmoods where before it took me to google. Just finished a virus scan with 40 infected objects/files/registry entries.
This wasn't a case of me being a simpleton and not knowing how to NOT install a search bar application during the installation of software I actually wanted. This was a case of me NEVER being given the ability to choose whether or not I wanted said search bar installed in the first place.
Conversion process is easy. It's fun to experiment and play with. Lots of tone-output options.
I was hoping to convert an a'cappella song to midi, but the output was jumpy and garbled. I tried a different wav file that is synthesized music that mostly played one note at a time -- it still came out jumpy and garbled.
First of all, IT'S THE ONLY DEMO THAT ALLOWS YOU TO SAVE YOU WORK AS MIDI FILES!!!! You can only do 30 seconds at a time, which is good enough. Please do not bother with this if you are a moron (even though the interface is easy). You obviously cannot transcribe a song you hear on the radio, since every tone will end up as the same instrument.......DUH!!!! That fact alone account for 99% of the negative feedback. What's with these people???????
