Product ranking:#23 in Music Software
A basic tool for novice and intermediate players. Pros won't need it.
The UI is a bit awkward, but usable.
Just use it. It is worth the download.
comprehensive for beginners and intermediate players
no complaints so far.
Will not make you a guitar god, but will enhance your understanding of the intricacies of the instrument and perhaps pique your interest to explore further.
IS A COMPLETE PROGAM
NOTHING, I LIKED EVERYTHING
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST COMPLETE I'VE EVER SEEN
If you are looking for a simple scale display and chord pattern display, it's not bad.
The chord patterns are a little limited. I would have like to hear what the chords and scales sounded like.
Very customizable. I was worried about the availability of a left-handed fretboard. There is no left-right option but it's not needed.
There is plenty of free content at the website - stuff for sale, too.
Boring? What would you recommend to make note/chord recognition exciting? Lasers picks to shoot the correct note/chord icons with? :-)
Audio output woud be nice, especially for chord and pattern practice.
Nice tool to learn the guitar fretboard, chords, and scales. Free! Only donate if you appreciate the program just a small advertisement for the website but not very bothersome displays at bottom.
The ability to print would be nice.
Its straight forward and that it uses reinforcement to make sure that you retain the information.
Boring and doesn't offer anything new
Easily customizable. You can start with 1 string and the first few frets and keep adding as you learn more. Its free. Great.
first thanks to tabguitarlessons.com for making this program FREE. I think more software should be free. Fretpro helps you learn the guitar in an entertaining way. It's fretboard game is addictive and makes you want to play over and over to beat your best time and best average response rate. It's really frustrating when you are stuck on a note and watch the time ticking on! - You just HAVE to have another go. All that time you are learning more and more about the notes on the fretboard. There's a load of other free stuff on their site too which doesn't appear to be mentioned here.
