Version: Advanced BKF Repair 2.0
Pros: I have been using the Software since version 1, and have recently upgraded to version 2, I am finding it very useful and time saving.
Cons: I find some grammer errors in the doc

"Impossible to tell if good as free download is useless"
Pros: It easily located and performed a check of some sort on the files within the bkf file.
Cons: Other than seeing that the program could create a visual suggesting a sorting of files, there is no way to determine if this program could in fact restore a file without paying the full purchase price.
Summary: Who knows? This type of "free" download is useless. Warning to other CNET-ers as well; one of the BKF repair programs was caught by my Norton stealing information during installation. Since CNET only allows you to report after you download the i... read more >>
