Not much you can't speak with supervisiors because they don't take calls????
Cons
1st level support don't have authority/experiene to answer more involved problems. What the? trying to resolve 1 issue takes well over 24 hrs, most of which is spent on the phone people telling you the same answer.
Summary
SAVE your $$$$ In order to down load a patch, you need version 5.1 but wait, 5.1 is no longer available???? now what? The entire software package is TOO pricey for these cost cutting times.

Pros
Easy enough to pick up; comes with a good tutorial.
Cons
RoboHelp X5 has some fundamental bugs, is inflexible, and lacks obvious features. Also, support is limited to two incidents and takes a long time to get. But what are you gonna do? You have to buy it, and Macromedia exploits that.

Summary
Robohtml is the tool we've been using to build out help systems. It's got so many weirdnesses, like extra randomly inserted spaces, loss of text formatting, difficulty switching project output type after it's been built, etc. Overall, it's a good system, but the only reason it remains the market leader is because it has no competition. It will never be worth $1000, no matter how badly Macromedia wants it to be (unbeknownst to them, not every person who uses their products is a Fortune 1000 company -- someone might want to tell their pricing team), so do try to find yourself a deal online.
