From Adobe Systems:The Adobe Premiere 5.1c update for Windows is a free update for those running Adobe Premiere 5.0 or later on Windows 95/98/NT 4.0. This update requires that Adobe Premiere 5.0 or later already be installed on your machine in order to update Premiere to version 5.1c. If Adobe Premiere 5.0 or later is not installed, you will need to install the upgrade that can be purchased online, and then come back to install the free 5.1c update.
The Adobe Premiere 5.1c update resolves problems that some customers encountered with Premiere 5.1 and Premiere RT 5.1. Even if you did not have problems with Premiere 5.1, Adobe recommends that you download and install this update. Please note that this update is called Premiere 5.1c in order to have the same version number cross-platform.
