Publisher's Description
From Adobe Systems:
The Adobe Premiere 5.1c update for Windows is a free update for those running Adobe Premiere 5.0 or later on Windows 95/98/NT 4.0. This update requires that Adobe Premiere 5.0 or later already be installed on your machine in order to update Premiere to version 5.1c. If Adobe Premiere 5.0 or later is not installed, you will need to install the upgrade that can be purchased online, and then come back to install the free 5.1c update.
The Adobe Premiere 5.1c update resolves problems that some customers encountered with Premiere 5.1 and Premiere RT 5.1. Even if you did not have problems with Premiere 5.1, Adobe recommends that you download and install this update. Please note that this update is called Premiere 5.1c in order to have the same version number cross-platform.

"Unstable"
Version: Adobe Premiere Update 5.1c
Summary
8 out of 10 times when i tried to edit a video... it crashes with my divx.dll file and performed an illegal operation. Also when i tried exporting edited movies, some clips will somehow fuse together, overlapping each other, took me ages to figure out how to solve it.

"BEWARE!!!"
Version: Adobe Premiere Update 5.1c
Summary
despite the recomendation by Adobe, if you have Premiere 5.1, stick to it because 5.1 made my system unstable and inverted my video display! Adobe after sales support is HORRIBLE and just blames someone els...in my case it was the video card's fault....yeh, sure, pass the buck!Anyway it took ATI, the make of my card to console me...they are ALWAYS nice! So I fix the problem from inside Premiere itself....of course because it is a problem they themselves had created! Boo to Adobe and BOO to 5.1c!

"Since upgrading to 5.1c, I have had serious problems exporting edited videos."
Version: Adobe Premiere Update 5.1c
Summary
This is highly anecdotal but since upgrading to premiere 5.1c I've had a lot of problems exporting large edited projects to Quicktime movies. These problems persist on both a MAC G4 system and a 850 MHZ PC system with a large dedicated AV drive. Strangely enough, my G3 with premiere 5.1a doesn't experience the problems even with the same projects, source files, and settings.
