Adguard enables you to browse without the intrusion of banners, pop-ups, and other ads. You can customize its blocking to create exceptions or manually block ads the program misses.

Pros

Web browsing speed: Rich-media ads with audio and video slow down Web page loading. Adguard blocks these ads so that you can browse much more quickly.

Excellent interface: When Adguard is active, a small green shield appears in the bottom right-hand corner of your browser window. When you click it, all the primary options are at your fingertips, including manual ad blocking and the ability to see the site unblocked for 30 seconds.

Exceptions: If you do want to see ads, add a site to the exception list so Adguard won't block it.

Cons

Undo bug: In our tests, undoing an action sometimes seemed to disable the app. The icon would vanish and not reappear until we reloaded the page.

Bottom Line

If you hate ads, you'll like Adguard. It successfully blocked ads from appearing on any of the websites we tested it on.

Outlook, Excel, Word, stopped functioning. I couldn't click Start and shut down. Maleware Bytes would not load. Come to think of it, I couldn't Delete Adguard either, it would lock the computer up.I'm running Windows 7, not sure if that has anything to do with it. But after several days of repeated reboots, today I just had it. I decided to reformat, which I haven't done yet. I was backing stuff up. I finally shut it down on Chrome. Right after a reboot (total of 10 for today) and slow as molasses, the second try on start, Adguard delete, I finally got it to delete permanently I think. Shutting down took less than the 5 minutes it was taking. Starting up from a cool boot, it seemed shorter but I'm not entirely sure. But Maleware loaded instantly, Outlooks been open for an hour and is still functional. I've opened and closed Word and Excel multiple times, left them open for a while and everything seems to fine, now it's gone.
Summary
As I said, I REALLY wanted it to work. But computer experience told me when things go south look at the last thing you installed. Well, for me it was Adguard and Trillian. I stopped Trillian from loading upon startup and that failed, slow, freezing.... My hope was I could reformat and reload everything including Adguard, except now that I got it to delete, everything seems to be fine. I could do without reformatting, since that's such a pain in the keister. I'm just so totally shocked, by how bad it was.

Been using it for the past few days and for those dudes that go off the mainstream internet, this is the program to have. So far I had only two ads poop up. But a simple grab the address and you can sent if off to the computer so that they can improve it. Been a long time since I be really happy with a purchase, I think this is an outstanding tool to have for your surfing.
The nominal cost of Ad Is well-worth it!

Totally seamless for all popular Browsers! I'm using Ad Guard with Comodo Dragon, Edge, Pale Moon, Google Chrome 64, Yandex, and Opera. Its coverage and function is absolutely seamless! Totally comprehensive, complete, stable and secure!

I wish it would play Little Richard when updating.
Summary
YOU can't make a better investment in an ad blocker than Ad Guard. BTW, place markers? Forget about it! A really GREAT ad blocking app! It will even try to support some less popular browsers. I've extended by license until 2017, their prices are a bargain, their support is the best Ad Guard is totally solid, stable, and secure! It beats Ad block and the rest, but there is a very reasonable price for Ad Guard's excellent app. Buy it and you won't regret it!

The software does what it claims to do. And, it is the only one that works for Windows Edge browser.
Cons
Performix is the manufacturer, a company based in Russia. Users should be cautious about relying on software from Russia or China. It's expensive, particularly considering that there are free alternatives available. What is a 'lifetime' licence worth if the company fails?
Summary
Adguard performs as advertised but caution is warranted.

Works fine, the software really does seem to block nearly all ads no matter which website you go to or where you browse.
Cons
If you're buying a multi-computer license...pass up this software. The download is fine for the first computer. Adding a second computer to your multi-computer license is a nightmare (to say the least) and I've been unsuccessful try so far. The installation software won't download for the 2nd computer and the link to unbind your license from the first (to transfer the software to your 2nd computer) is non-existent even though it's shown on a help page.
Summary
Pass it up unless you're sure you're going to buy it for one computer only.
Works for both IE desktop and IE Metro!

Easy to set up. Clean and informative GUI. Successfully blocks all ads on all sites tested. Excellent cross-platform support. Competent technical help and support. Very stable and feature-rich.

They say you get what you pay for. With Adguard's nominal annual subscription you get the very best ad blocking available, as well as malware and anti-phising protection. Do yourself a favor and try Adguard.
