This program does the basics of creating and uncompressing various archive formats using Windows Explorer, a wizard, or a standard interface, but it accomplishes its functions with elan. PicoZip's basic icon interface is simple but intuitive. Creating an archive is a matter of clicking an icon and choosing files. PicoZip's wizard gives novices an understanding of archives and simple instructions for their creation. Expert users will gravitate to the menus, where they'll find such advanced features as file virus scan, archive splitter, and various batch functions. A shopping list of configurations help personalize the functions. Useful bonus features include the ability to burn an archive to a CD, send it by e-mail, or upload it to via FTP. With its three interfaces and numerous functions, PicoZip is suitable for all users. Novices will favor the wizard, and experts will easily configure PicoZip to their personal specifications.Publisher's description

Version: Acubix PicoZip 4.02
Pros: Tons of file formats
Cons: doesn't clean up after itself after installing a program from inside the archive.

Version: Acubix PicoZip 4.02
Pros: The Software did its job. In the world of compression products, its probably as good as half.
Cons: I had Picozip under the 30day trial, when the trial expired, I wanted to remove it to keep my system clean. No matter what I tried, I could not get the product uninstalled. I email the company twice. They never responded at all, to this day (1 year later) I still have their icon in my sys tray and it does nothing. I'm pissed. screw them

Version: Acubix PicoZip 4.02
"OK Software, No Vista Support, No Customer Support"
Cons: I purchased a license of this software about a year ago. Performance wise, the early versions seemed pretty quick, after a couple updates it got slower and slower; especially opening a zip file.
I built a new replacement PC and installed Vista. Pico blew-up in Vista. I wrote customer support asking if there was a patch or a new version supporting Vista anytime soon. I guess they were to busy selling Pico to answer my emails...
I can't recommend this software any longer. I purchased license for WinRAR and will never do business with Pico again.

Version: Acubix PicoZip 4.02
Pros: seems like a great product but unable to register.
Cons: Purchased single user license, never got a registration code, repeated attempts to contact company got no response, contacts links on web page bounce back with a delivery failure. Seems like the company is out of business
Summary: DON"T BUY.
