This Internet Explorer add-on will keep you up to date on all weather-related news and information, but you can only view one location at a time and can't customize the toolbar. The AccuWeather.com Toolbar for IE displays an inconspicuous toolbar across your IE window. The toolbar's design is straightforward; it provides both current and next-day temperatures for your desired city, along with a corresponding satellite image and weather video. Hovering your mouse over one of the buttons will give you more detailed information, including the weather conditions and wind direction/speed. We especially like that you can search for cities outside of the United States, but not being able to view more than one city at a time is a definite drawback. A drop-down menu features other options such as the ability to e-mail weather info to a friend and updates on breaking news. But unfortunately, you can't add any of these options to your toolbar as all the buttons are preset. Regardless of its shortcomings, this free tool won't disappoint anyone looking to stay on top of the weather.Publisher's description

Pros: Toolbar worked for me but...
Cons: I like the desktop widget or the sys tray notifiers much better because they don't take up browser space.

Pros: Excellent. I had it on my XP which died and I bought a Vista.
Cons: I am unable to get the toolbar to connect with the IE website. Getting very frustrated.
Summary: AGain, I am unable to get the toolbar to appear on my web. It shows up in my control panel but unable to access it. VEry frustrating and I have just about given up. Tried many times by uninstalling and redownloading. Didn't work. I really like this ... read more >>
