CNET Editors' review
Though they required minor editing, this file converter quickly and easily converted our PDFs to Word, Excel, and other file formats. We were, however, disappointed by its double-whammy of a trial limitation.
Able2Extract PDF Converter has a sleek and professional-looking user interface. Intuitive commands and navigational buttons reside at the top of the window. Novice users will especially appreciate the tips and the step-by-step guide it employs to walk you through the conversion process. The process was extremely easy and fast. Once we located our PDF, it was simply a matter of selecting the text we wanted to convert, and clicking on the file format icon on the toolbar. When we converted the PDF text to a Word file, we did have to clean it up a bit, removing a few extraneous lines and characters, but the text itself required no editing whatsoever. The program also has the capability to convert PDFs to HTML, Excel, and text files, which worked perfectly when we put them to the test. The Batch Conversion feature let us add multiple files to convert to the same file format in one fell swoop, a very handy tool for users handling numerous files.
The program offers a built-in Help feature. We were a little put off by its meager seven-day trial period, and three-page conversion limit. We also had to manually remove files during the uninstallation. But despite its few drawbacks, we highly recommend this PDF converter for all user levels.
Publisher's Description
From Investintech:
Abl2Extract is a powerful PDF Converter tool that lets users convert their PDF data into formatted MS Excel spreadsheets, editable MS Word documents, Publisher files, forms, powerpoint presentations, Autocad (DWG, DXF), Open Office, image formats (jpeg, bmp, png, tiff, etc.), HTML. A2E has its own proprietary PDF viewer that allows users to select exactly what they want to convert. Our custom Excel conversion option lets users graphically designate how they want their PDF data converted into excel and then save the template for future use. This ensures perfect conversions into Excel.
A2E also converts XPS documents into Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher. A2E allows users to better utilize data in certain formats such as financial information and database reports. For example, users can select and convert financial tables and other tabular data directly into Excel rather than inputting the data manually, i.e. PDF to Excel, PDF to Text, HTML to Excel, etc. A2E is a standalone Windows application that does not require Adobe Acrobat.
Able2Extract 7 has PDF to Publisher conversion that allows users to convert their PDF documents into formatted .pub files where they can be edited in the powerful publisher. This will be especially valuable for users working with legacy publisher documents that were previously unusable in PDF.

"This company is SHADY - avoid at all costs."
Version: Able2Extract 7.0.0.14
Pros
None. Company website said my credit card was declined twice, turns out that both attempts were succesful but the "company" and never sent me the key. Read below....
Cons
If your experience is anything like mine, this "company" will charge you twice while telling you that the card was denied both times. However, the charges will go through but they will not send you the key to unlock the software. When you try to call them to straighten it out the "company" will not pick up the phone. They also will not respond to your credit card company when they attempt to resolve the problem. Shady shady shady.
Summary
As of this writing I will need to wait 4 business days to get my money back. Again: The company website from which I ordered told me TWICE that my card was denied. Although I suspected a software glitch I later noted that my credit card was indeed debited. I have still not received a key and I cannot get a refund for a few days.
After reading previous comments and taking into account my own experience, I would avoid this company entirely.
