AXMEDIS Player installer provides the PC Players for AXMEDIS MPEG-21 Cross-media Contents Player for PC. The package contains AXMEDIS MPEG-21 demonstrative contents as well. AXMEDIS player for PC is capable of loading and playing protected and non protected AXMEDIS objects. The AXMEDIS objects may contain any kind of digital resources.

Those that can be directly played the AXMEDIS PC player can be images (almost any format), video in almost any format, document in PDF, PPT, XLS, PS (in some cases the play is performed by using specific Active X), audio files (almost any format), and animations. And Presentation files gluing the content file together such as: SMIL, HTML and MPEG-4. The player is capable to distinguish from links towards internal resources and those referring to external file via URL. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
