Although it lacks a couple of common features, this application is great for managing your archives. AX-ZIP Archiver's two-panel interface displays archives and their contents in a standard Windows Explorer-style tree. Helpfully, AX-ZIP Archiver automatically displays the content of archives while browsing through the folder panel. The separate archive and file panels make it a snap for users to drag and drop files to create or extract archives. Users also can easily drag and drop files from other applications to create archives. AX-ZIP Archiver is primarily aimed at the common ZIP algorithm, but also handles RAR files. AX-ZIP Archiver isn't perfect, as it lacks a method to password-protect archives and does not integrate its functions into the context menu. Though we found the utility impressive, efficient, and easy to learn, novice users will be happy to find a well-written help file. Simple and helpful, this application is recommended for any level of user who frequently works with archived files.

AX-ZIP Archiver is the utility for creation and management of ZIP archives. It can also extract files from CAB, RAR, JAR, ACE, and 7Z archives. The utility is integrated into Windows Shell. Original, double tree program interface allows to manipulate simultaneously several archives and to minimize the number of operations while working with archives. Work with items of archives is similar to work with files and folders in Windows Explorer. Besides, AX-ZIP Archiver is simple and convenient file manager.

Version 3.0 allows to extract from CAB, RAR, JAR, ACE, and 7Z archives.
