From Cuban-Aftermath Software :Removes ads and junkware from AIM. This allows you to delete ads from aim and better computer performance. This new version excludes all bugs and helps better computer performance, especially if you stay on aim a lot. Version 5.52 has added blocking of IE search provider change, added blocking of AIM Toolbar, optionally install AIM Tunes plugin, and other improvements.

Pros: easy to use
Cons: download.com's link seems to be broken and is older version - actual newest version is 5.55 (at time of writing; download.com shows 5.54). Just google "aim ad hack" and you'll find the official site with the newest download link.

Cons: Got a message saying "this program requires Windows NT version 5.0.2195 SP3 or later." Won't install.

"Great, very useful , very effective."
Pros: Great tool for people who want to use AIM (not a 3rd party aim clone) without the security risks.Ad hack is simple straight forward utility you only need to run once to cleans out the bloatware and fix most security threats included with AIM.
Cons: a recurring issue this programs had for years sometimes it won't install,this is because the official aim file verion it tries to download was removed,changed,etc by aol.easy fix is to install aim seperatley then run ad hack. to clean it.
Summary: great program, lose 1 star because sometimes you have install first then let ad hack remove the junk.Probobly work just as good but the OCD in me prefers not installing bloatware instead of installing then removing. *This a matter of personal prefer... read more >>
