This program is not a work of art by any stretch of the imagination thanks to tons of white space and tabs, but the navigation is intuitive. Some of the terminology used will only be familiar to those who have researched computers, so a trip to the Help file is a good idea for novices. The program's functionality was fairly simple, but very slow. Users input any Web site they would like to see and the program easily scans it. Small personal pages were interpreted instantly, while larger news sites with a lot of content took several minutes. The Web site analysis was the best part of the program, allowing users to take a close look at the page. From the number of images, HTML errors, and the actual HTML code that comprises the site, users can shuffle through and learn from all this information.
A1 Website Analyzer is so focused on its functionality that it doesn't offer much in the way of special features. Users can operate the program in one of a dozen languages. You have 30 days to give the program a try. While it takes a few minutes to finish, this program is a great download for users looking to understand how their favorite Web sites work.
