This free target-practice sim strikes us more as an occasional diversion than a full-fledged game. The action is simple and repetitive: you use your mouse to fire your pistol at targets as they advance upon you. The closer you come to the center of the target, the more points you score. However, 3D Shooter lacks a variety of shooting ranges and weapons, so the only way to mix up the gameplay is to change the difficulty, which basically just makes the targets move faster. The Flash graphics certainly aren't the best we've ever seen, though the report of your handgun seems mostly realistic. If you want to hone your aim every once in a while, this freebie makes an acceptable pickup, but we doubt most users will find it seriously engrossing.Publisher's description
From GameYard.com :Shooting is the best way to relax and forget about everything. This shooting range in the open air is the best way to have fun and to spend several hours of real pleasure. You may choose from three game levels. Load your rifle and shoot at the targets. You have one minute to cope with the task. The more targets you shoot the more points you get. Don't forget to reload and have fun!

Version: 3D Shooter 1.0
Pros: Realistic range. I am a qualified Sharpshooter in the Army, this is what a range looks like. This is not a "game" in the traditional electronic sense.
Cons: having to reload after only 6 rounds. I use a 20 round magazine so it is a bit troublesome to remember to reload.

Version: 3D Shooter 1.0
Pros: none
Cons: horrible game. hard to believe someone even put this out there

Summary: Boring
-
Version: 3D Shooter 1.0
Summary: It's actually 2d, not 3d. If it was 3d, it would take at LEAST 1 mb, trust me. It's just a picture of a hallway and some targets getting bigger. I guess that at a certain size, something happens, but it was fun.
