Though the demo limitation seems a bit rigorous to us, this space-themed screensaver has enough positives to make it worth a look. As you'd guess from its name, 365 Hubble Telescope Screen Saver lets you ride along with the famous telescope, as it captures pictures of colorful galaxies, nebulae, and planets. All the images are detailed and pleasing to look at, though the lack of an appropriately ambient soundtrack seems like an oversight. Also, the 10-image, 1-week trial may not give some users enough content or time to decide whether they want to buy this screensaver. We can't, however, gripe about the generous feature set, which lets you set the image interval, change the background color, randomize pictures, determine caption placement, set a sticky note, or enable a snow effect. Sci-fi enthusiasts will probably enjoy 365 Hubble Telescope Screen Saver the most, but we can also see this program having a broader appeal.Publisher's description

Pros: the random choices always deliver a pleasant surprize
Cons: I lost my hard drive in May 2007. I had already purchased this screen saver a year or 18 months ago. I have no record left of the initial purchase. Must I pay again for the complete program???? Also, I never got any updates on the original purchase. Ray P. Montgomery
