"The Best Solution For Email Marketing"

    January 16, 2014   |   By piash2404

    Version: 1and1Mail 3.8.2

    Pros

    - It is possible to send millions emails everyday without any cost by only use 1and1Mail software and free mail servers.
    - No variable cost, just one time payment.
    - Friendly to use.
    - Easily import address data from Excel sheet.

    Cons

    - Has limitation with Free Version.
    - Can not add multiple server accounts on free version.

    Summary

I think it is a complete email sending software for email marketing. But If it possible to add "Email Tracking System" on the software then the software will be more helpful for email marketers.

"Works well. Free version has limits to mail recipients."

    January 06, 2013   |   By poomo

    Version: 1and1Mail 3.5.3

    Pros

    - Works well on faster PCs
    - Easy to use
    - Great customer service, received quick response
    - Business Edition affordable at $80 for unlimited recipients... cheapest software I could find like this

    Cons

    - Free version has limited mail recipients
    - If you're doing a large newsletter mailing, the software might freeze a little for a minute.
    - Mail send reports are somewhat limited, but good enough.

    "Excellent Product"

    December 17, 2012   |   By WWSWebservices

    Version: 1and1Mail 3.5

    Pros

Great features and quite easy to get to know interface.
Free version great for keeping in contact with people in your email list.
Great interface to use when you want to import quality template and saves hour o HTML coding

    Cons

Sizing of windows causes icons and text to be distorted or missing in some cases.
    User Instructions could be clearer.
Sometimes the minimize window function does not work and requires the program to be closed and reopened to get it reset.
has a few niggling bugs but generally good software.

    Summary

Generally a very good piece of kit needs a bit more attention to finer detail and appearance.

"Excellent software with user friendly features."

    November 16, 2012   |   By venubende

    Version: 1and1Mail 3.4

    Pros

You can never find such easy interface in any other email marketing softwares in the market. It got most userfriendly features.
Automatic detection of smtp server settings.
Html template downloading/adding facility which will be very useful if you already have running email templates in some other programs.
You can set the timelag between each mail so that you will never be blocked by mail servers. This is the most important feature.
Easy import of contacts from excel/csv files.
Just see the videos in their website and you can start immediately.
You can test all the features in trial version.

    Cons

Need some more payment methods other then paypal.
It will become great software if it can automatically delete the bounced mails.I couldnot find it in trial version. But it seems that it is in paid versions.

    Summary

Best software for email marketing .Try the free version and check yourself.Definitely value for money.

"Very good product with small things I don't like"

    September 06, 2012   |   By Landi_bkk

    Version: 1and1Mail 3.3.1

    Pros

Easy to handle, very flexible to use addresses from the db with names, etc.

    Cons

If an email is sent, can't be copied anymore for further action, have to be done by copy the text body and write the subject line again.
Addresses should have a copy function.
My version is limited to sending 100 mails per day, correct?
Mass update function in address book would be great, like complete the full name, if not there.
Funtion I miss is, use text conditionally using variables, if then function would make it perfect

    Summary

Very good product with small things, should be added to make it really perfect.
I like it and I guess will use it in the future more

"best i have found on the net so fare, very affordable"

    June 06, 2012   |   By wcossie

    Version: 1and1Mail 3.3.1

    Pros

very easy to install the free version support is excellent from the get go dose what it says it suppose to do cant fault it at the moment and i am defiantly getting in on this one, if it says what it is suppose to do by going pro there is no competition for it, as i have looked for a while and this leaves the other emails in there spam box.

    Cons

not to sure if i have found any yet i am very surprised by this e mailer, but there is one thing that i found very devastating is my ip provider is going to nail me on the amount of e mails i am sending out.

    Summary

over all i love it it dose exactly what i want and more, i could not be happier.

"DO NOT DOWNLOAD kept trying to access internet"

    April 19, 2012   |   By talkbytype

    Version: 1and1Mail 3.24

    Pros

    None whatsoever, it's untrustworthy

    Cons

DO NOT DOWNLOAD, I downloaded their free edition of the email newsletter program and went to do a test newsletter just to see it on my computer, not to send it or even set the sending up yet. Well, the program tried to gain internet access and I had my firewall block it and it kept trying to gain access over and over and tried to access my email and even kept on with that behavior after I hit cancel several times on the program itself. This is spyware or out to hijack your browser or at the very, very least it's set up to do whatever they want it to even if you tell it NO. So do not trust it, go somewhere else. There is no reason it must gain access for a trial design, I have website making programs that do tons more and they can do a design offline. Anything that A) tries over and over and over to access the internet or anything when you tell it no by blocking it is untrustworthy and B) anything that will not shut down when you use it's own stop or end button is not trustworthy.

    Summary

Why should I trust the company if I can't even trust the program?
