  Pros

  Zortam is okay if you want to manage a small number of MP3's. Pretty easy to access and look up cover art and lyrics.

  Cons

  NOT good is you have a large number of MP3. My library is about 25000 songs and I cannot get it to stay open long enough to even do any searching or remaning. I would not reccomend it if you are serious about your database.

  Summary

  Zortam keep crashing and just exiting with no warning. I thought it might be my PC so I installed on it on a different one and it still does the same thing. I reported it to Zortam and they just told me I found a bug. Well if you can't keep it open on your desktop ???? I think that is really more then just a bug. If you only habe a few hundred MP3 file then this will be fine, much more then that .... spend your money somewhere else.

  Pros

  My security showed it was trying to access the net so I tried to shut it down. 20 min. later as my PC was still hung, finally got task manager to shutdown. Then it tried to start up AGAIN when I rebooted.

  Cons

  Caused MULTIPLE security alerts on my PC. RegCleaner couldn't even get rid of it. Had to clean the registry manually. I strongly advise against this program. You don't know what it's putting on your computer. Took 30 minutes to get rid of it without EVEN RUNNING IT ONCE!

  Worked fine on my Win2000! Unfortunaly it's not possible to edit tag fields (e.g. artist) for multiple files at once, or to edit the value in the grid directly. This is what i was looking for...
