Your Brothers Keeper for Windows

This free database application stores log-in IDs and passwords, but doesn't come with extras like automatic log-in that other password managers offer.

Your Brothers Keepers' straightforward, compact interface is simple in design and functionality, with fields to enter account name, user ID, and password. You can add a brief description for each entry and create different categories to organize your various accounts, but you can't customize fields to store other types of information. Your Brothers Keeper includes a password generator, and you can password-protect the program itself, but passwords are displayed without masking when the program is open.

We do like that you can create and save backup files for your database. Unlike similar programs, however, Your Brothers Keeper can't automatically complete your log-in information when you're online. If you're just looking for a way to store information, this free program will suffice, but those looking for more than the basics will need to keep looking.
