Contrast map for YotaPhone 2 second screen based on Google Maps.
Map is specially adapted for E-ink display, has big contrast and readability. YotaMap allows you to keep map always on without battery expenditure. It lets you to work with the main screen while keeping map on the second screen. YotaMap displays information about your location and direction using GPS. Map data cache is available in order to decrease loaded data size.
Main functions are:
- Zooming and panning map
- Shows your location and direction of travel
- Follows your location
- Search for places and address
- Show phone's direction like compass
- Build simple route to place (walk, transit, drive)
- Show map's point description (double click on map)
- Automatically rebuilds route (ver. >= 1.3)
- Let to set appropriate GPS update interval
- Open map on main screen

Toolbar buttons (left-to-right):
Follow - continuously re-position map to follow my location. Map panning switches this off
Search - search places by name, type or address. Several places closest to current map position are found and displayed on the map. You can build route to one of them. Don't forget to update search after going far away from position.
Compass - display phone's direction on map
Route - show/hide route on map. If route isn't built then opens Search window. Double click shows whole route.
Settings - here you can set GPS update interval, turn on rebuild route option and open map in the front screen. Select as large interval as possible for you in order to save battery life (for walking 10 seconds is enough, for riding - 5 seconds). Also cache settings are available.

You can build a route to some place from your current position. To do this click on the object of interest and select route type (walk, transit, drive). You can also add object of interest by double-clicking on map point or by making Search request. If rebuild route option is on route will be automatically rebuilt when position changed.
Notes
--------
Although YotaMap uses cache for map data loading some scripts have still to be loaded from Internet (this is required by Google), so Internet connection is also needed.

YotaMap is based on Google Maps (c). It loads large data from the Internet that can cost you considerable funds when using in roaming. Be attentive!
