Dictionary for Scrabble and crossword enthusiasts

WordFindPro is a powerful dictionary search program for word game and crossword puzzle lovers. It allows you to search for words given subsets of letters and their locations. It can find single and multi-word anagrams too. It supports several types of search queries, including `glob' style patterns, regular expressions, and its own `template' style serahc patterns. It uses a compact dictionary database allowing you to search hundreds of thousands of words. The WordFindPro program uses about 49kb of RAM, excluding the dictionary. The dictionaries range in size from about 125kb to about 1.5Mb, depending on the number of words (approximately 3 to 4 bytes per word).

WordFindPro has all of the features of WordFind++, but also allows switching between multiple dictionaries, UNIX-style regular expression searches, numeric cryptogram style searches, and includes a dictionary maintenance program for MS Windows (registered version only).

NOTE: This program is for finding words that match patterns. It is NOT for looking up the meanings of words. The dictionaries do not include word meanings, merely lists of words.
