Woodworks for Foundation is a free utility program designed for Windows that enriches the gameplay experience by transforming the building mechanics in the game. It introduces a multi-function Woodworking Shop, allowing players to change the original Carpenter job to a Sawyer role, which is more suitable for Serfs. This utility increases the output of Planks in the Sawmill by one and enhances the worker capacity, making resource management more efficient and engaging. The program also features a new job, Carpenter, optimized for Commoners. This role enables the creation of Furniture from Planks and Tools, with a worker capacity of three. The added furniture qualifies as Common Goods, which can be sold in local markets, thus fulfilling the needs of Commoners and enhancing trade dynamics. Players should note that pre-existing Sawmills must be assigned a workshop function to resume production effectively.
