This app is for the delivery drivers of Restaurant Delivery Services using WISDOM Restaurant Delivery Service Software. The driver can launch the app on their iPhone or iPad and it will run in the background periodically transmitting real-time GPS location to WISDOM. In addition, the app provides real time chat and order status update capability with the dispatcher.In order to improve battery life, the app does not constantly require GPS to be on, rather after it obtains a location it turns the GPS antenna off for 20 seconds before attempting to get the next update. However, continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
