  This is a nice little free program that does the job. I've been using this as a part of my work and send with referrals to other practitioners. The feed back that I get from them is very positive.

  Not terribly easy to edit or change genogram once complete

  Summary

  I used this software to make my genogram for one of my masters classes. It was easy to figure out; however, if you need to change something, it's not terribly user-friendly.If you accidentally delete something like I did, the "undo" button doesn't put it back...you have to re-enter it all. That was rather inconvenient. It also only has basic relationships (marriages, divorces, children, adopted/biological/foster)so if you are tracking things like illnesses or relationship qualities, you have to hand-draw that in. Overall, it gets the job done and I'll keep using it until a better free software comes out.
