• Trying To Accomplished The Unaccomplish-able

  Very appealing and attractive when you're considering playing it. Just the thing to bring in an audience!

  Summary

  I really want to like this game. I think the creators have a great idea, but just haven't grasped it within this game. You get from the description of this game and to the feeling of it, that it's really great, but from there that's when it stops. I found the graphics of the scenery, animals, items, etc, to be tolerable enough, but the characters are very strange-looking, almost creepy. Worst of all was the main character! xD The fighting, the movement of the characters and, just overall, the whole interactive-bit of the game is very unresponsive, even to the point of being unusable. You have characters who you're supposed to communicate with all of a sudden fighting you randomly and even being a challenge to talk to. Not to mention, the spelling is awful in the game, even to the point of being funny. I didn't even understand most of the conversations the wife and main-character were having, including the one at the beginning of the game! XD When it comes to the fighting, the main character movements are weird, along with the weapon. Sometime you can accidentally target the wrong thing, and end up losing the game! How uncool. What's also pretty uncool was how easy it was to lose health (like it already wasn't with the game interface) because of how the character's health was always going down in the game, no matter what. It was un-necessary for a game like this. Sleeping, eating....Okay, basically doing anything in this was weird and hard. I really wish the idea of this game was given to some other advanced game creators, because this brilliant game idea certainly wasn't meant for these creators. I do hope they make a game that's more in their league, though! This one wasn't.

• Interesting but confusing

  Pros

  This looks great. When you start it up you feel like you're in line for a great 3D adventure. The area open for you to explore is large and there are creatures and people scattered everywhere.

  Cons

  It seems like it was too big a product for the team and has a slightly unfinished feel to it. The collision detection can make the character jump around. Sometimes if you try and interact with someone in front of you then you end up speaking to someone you're not really looking at. The combat is also fairly clumsy. I would say the main problem is that you're not given a clear enough goal. There is a big area you can wander around in but I was never really sure where I should be trying to head.
