Minimize, maximize, hide, or move active windows with this no-frills program, although checking out the read-me file is a must. After installation, Window Control resides in the system tray, but its sparse right-click menu offers so few choices that clicking Help is the only viable option. The read-me file contains a list of shortcuts that allow you to quickly minimize, resize, hide, or move your active windows. (Moving your window means aligning it to one of four quadrants of your screen.) Warning: the shortcuts only work if you're using your numerical keypad. Despite its limitations, anyone seeking control of their windows may still find it useful.

Pros
Few Windows users realize the mediocrity of Window's interface. Having so many keys available, it forces one to use the mouse for everything; to maximize, minimize, or restore a window (not to mention the frustating procces of resizing, which is so tedious that it is almost never used by anyone). To the user's rescue comes this software, which empowers the user to fully take advantage of the keyboard and it's many keys to easily control program windows and minimize, maximize, resize, and easily divide the screen into 4 parts to allow one window in each. Ideal for actively using two or more programs at the same time, without having to switch with the mouse every time.
Cons
None, exept mabe that it requires the user to read the read-me file(which is half-a-page long, graphics included) to learn how to use the softare. The shortcut keys are very logical and extremely easy to use once they are tried. This is basic software that should be included with Windows!, or announced in this website's home page.

Window Control is a small utility allowing the user to move, resize, minimize, and hide the active window using keyboard. Further options lets you send the active window to the back or set focus to the top-most window in any of the quadrants. All of this is accomplished by using the Windows key and the numerical keypad - no need to reach for the mouse any longer when performing trivial tasks.
