• WiFI enable thermostat allows control of space temps

  Pros

  This has seven day schedule, hold and vacation feature for extended times over the standard schedule and uses your WiFi internet connection to monitor and override the features. There are places for multiple schedule types in the IE version but I have not checked this during the current heating season. See the cons box for details. Emails are sent out if the web looses contact with the thermostat and there is a provision for multiple stats to be in your account based on a large multi-stat site or disparate installations.

  Cons

  Temporary override of the temperature only holds for about 30 minutes. To me the software should stay in the overridden temperature until the next timed set point change. The schedule on the web page version appears to have limited functionality but that could be because I am primarily using Safari and not IE.

  Summary

  I checked out several brands of WiFI enable t'stats and for the money it provides the basic monitoring and connectivity that should enhance the users experience.
