The ads could get annoying, but since it's a free app, it's understandable.

White Noise Lite is great app for those who need a little bit of noise to get a good night's sleep. This app really does the trick. There's a great variety of sounds, from beach waves to white noise, from rain to chimes. The sounds are very soothing and help calm the nerves superbly. I'm seriously considering upgrading to the paid version.

Pros
I threw out my sound machine b/c of this app! I upgraded to the White Noise paid version is even better with more sounds and its customizable.
Cons
Wish I could download the sounds to give to my friends that don't have iphones!
