All ski trails (with trail difficulty indicated), ski lifts, snowshoe trails, plus event and significant ski area locations, are featured on top of highly detailed terrain relief using Intermaps NEXTMap elevation data. A must-have app for visiting the Whistler-Blackcomb area anytime this winter - because a paper trail map cant tell you which way the lodge is in a white-out snowstorm. This GPS-enabled app will track your location and provide statistics and an elevation profile of your on-mountain experience. The custom AccuTerra map layer is optimized for winter activities, and is EMBEDDED into your iPhones memory to give you a detailed map experience beyond your network. If youre in network or WiFi range, and youd rather view or track in Google Maps, Whistler GPS will also allow you to toggle from the built-in AccuTerra into Google Maps Road or Hybrid mode. Features include: Over 200 GPS placemarks of trails (by difficulty), ski lifts, lodges, and competition events. Search by name or placemark type, and fly to its location on the Whistler map. Unlimited Tracks! There is no limit to the number of tracks that can be recorded. Unlimited Waypoints! There is no limit to the number of geo-located points that can be recorded. Unlimited Geo-coded pictures! Photos taken within AccuTerra are linked to your adventures and can be displayed in the location in which they were taken. Upload directly from AccuTerra into your Facebook account, or send your tracks and photos via an email link for viewing in Google Maps or Google Earth NOTE: AccuTerra terrain maps are only available on this app for the Whistler area.
