Whats My Note? for iOS

What's My Note is a multimedia application tailored for choral singers who encounter difficulties with sheet music. The app allows users to capture or import images of their sheet music in JPG, PNG, or PDF formats. By simply tapping on the notes in the image, users can hear the corresponding pitches, which facilitates learning and practicing vocal parts. This functionality is particularly advantageous for participants in choirs, barbershop quartets, and similar vocal ensembles, aiding in pitch recognition and retention through repetition.

The application boasts support for various file formats and includes an optical character recognition (OCR) feature, enabling users to take advantage of their device's camera for music photography. However, it is crucial to understand that What's My Note does not provide playback for entire scores, nor does it interpret rhythms or accommodate instrumental parts. The app is specifically designed for vocal music, concentrating on assisting users in learning pitches from published choral works.
