Developer's Description

Location-based sharing of mobile phone cameras so anyone can see everything
Location-based sharing of mobile phone cameras so anyone can see everything, anywhere - anytime! With What U See, you gain access to mobile phone cameras around the world and can even guide the users to turn their camera to your desired direction, as if you are controlling it remotely.EXPLORE THE WORLD IN REAL TIME - THROUGH OTHERS EYES- Want to know what is going on right now near the London Eye?- Wonder what it looks like right now in Honolulu Beach, Hawaii?- Dreaming to feel the atmosphere at the Marrakech Souk in Morocco, in real-time?- Ever wanted to be part of a breaking-news world event? Now you can!HOW DOES IT WORK?- Use the built-in map to search for your desired location, or use the "Hot Spot" to quickly navigate to a random popular location- Send "What U See" requests to users in the radius you have chosen- Wait for an incoming video stream- Once a connection is established, a real-time video is streamed to you, directly from the mobile phone camera of a user from the location you have chosen!- As long as the video stream is active, you can politely guide the user to turn the camera right or left, up or down. This can easily be done by any of these two options:1. Tapping the on-screen arrows towards your desired direction2. Pointing your phone ahead of you, as if you are taking the video yourself, while enabling "Gyro-Mode" - this way, the guidance will be sent automatically to the user when you move your phone left or right, up or down. This will give you a feeling as if you are taking the video yourself!- Once the video stream ends, you can show your appreciation to the user that gave you access to his camera by rating the quality of your experience.WHAT U SEE COMMUNITY RANKS- Noob- Watcher- Observer- Scouter- Voyager- ExplorerEveryone starts as a Noob. As a Noob, only users that share your rank are available to you - but not for long! As you participate in the community and share you own camera, your score starts to increase and your rank gets promoted! As you go up in ranks, more users that you outrank are available to you which means access to many more valued users - both in quantity and quality!Once you are an Explorer - you get access to EVERYONE in the What U See Community!HOW DO I SHARE MY OWN CAMERA SO I CAN GET HIGHER RANK?- Make sure that location services are enabled- Stay tuned for incoming "What U See" Requests- Once you get a "What U See" request, approve the callback and wait for the connection to be established- Once the connection is established, point your phone ahead and the video stream will start- Pay attention to the blinking arrows - they will guide you where to turn your camera, per the user request - left or right, up or down.- Once the connection ends (either by the user or by yourself), allow the user to show appreciation by rating your video stream - the rating will be sent to you in real-time and will help you increase your score in the What U See CommunityPRIVACY- Don't worry about your privacy - What U See is fully anonymous. We do not take nor store any personal information; we only keep an anonymous identifier to keep your score and location. There is no way to link this identifier to any personal details whatsoever.- Video streams are not stored on our servers and they are sent peer to peer. What U See does not offer an option to save a video stream.Content rating: Low Maturity
