What's Playing is a guessing game that gives you an animated clue, and blank spaces to fill in below it when you know the word. Use the letters below the spaces to make your guess, and move on to more and more challenging clues as you work your way through the hundreds of levels in the game.

This app has a fun and intuitive interface, with options on the main screen for starting the game, turning the sound on and off, and seeing if any of your Facebook friends are playing. When you start a game, you'll go to a screen with a piece of white paper taped to the wall and an animation playing on it. Below that, you'll see several blank spaces that you have to fill in to solve the riddle and guess the word using some of the 12 letters located below the spaces. When you think you know the word, just tap the letters to make them jump into the spaces and check yourself. If you're right, you'll move on to the next word. At the top of the screen you can see what stage you're at in the game, and each time you solve a puzzle, you'll earn some kind of reward that can help you later on if you get stuck on a more challenging word.

What's Playing is free, and there aren't many ads to take away from your gameplay experience. You do earn stars as you solve puzzles, but you can purchase them in the app in packages ranging from a bag of 400 stars for $0.99 to 6,000 stars for $9.99. You can also remove ads completely for $0.99.
