This extremely limited audio tool handles its main job quickly, but many other programs will do the same thing for free. As it name states, this application simply turns compressed MP3s into uncompressed WAV files. However, unlike some of the more well-rounded conversion apps we've tested, this one lacks support for other formats such as WMA and OGG. WaveMaker MP3 to WAV Converter's main interface is one of its strong points; not only is it pleasant to look at, but it lets you add files to the queue by dragging and dropping. The normalization tool is a nice plus, as are the effects for adding fades, but the app lacks other audio features such as a burner or a built-in player. Still, we're glad to say that the program handles the conversion process quickly and with no hiccups. Many major jukeboxes boast more versatile conversion engines than this program, but if you transform lots of MP3s to WAVs on an everyday basis, you might glance at this app.

Pros
simple utility which does what it says. I didn't find any virus or spywares with this program. I used windows live onecare to scan for virus and spywares. Some stupid guys say that it has virus, but if they had to promote virus with an application, then why create such a fantastic, useful, good looking utility.

I installed another app, which installed spyware that kept changing my home page and modifying my search results on google (don't know what else it did on my computer). Got tired removing all that using adaware. I have been using this professional looking mp3 to wav converter for few days and so far so good.

After having seen other apps of this kind, was pleased to find this simple utility with cool looks and useful features for me like the delete silence(for removing silence from old songs recorded from cassette tapes). Also normalized the volume on some of these songs. A good buy for me.
