• Once a free and truly fine viewer; now a come-on

  Pros

  If the current offering is the same as the old Vueprint, then it is a very flexible viewer for fixed images, jpg, etc.

  Cons

  What I found on downloading is a come-on: it places a net of $ signs over the images to be viewed until, I suppose, one pays for a license.

  Summary

  Selling a viewer is OK, but to waste the net-user's time by encouraging the belief that the freeware product of the past is still available as before is, in my view, shoddy behavior. It is especially shoddy when in the past, the viewer was not just a "free download" but totally free.

  Pros

  I like it because of the many uses for my pictures

  Cons

  I like it very much, but haven't been able to use it with windows Vista

  Summary

  I haven't tried the VuePrint 8.0 yet but if it is anything like the regular vueprint it is great. I just want a version that will work with vista. I just bought VuePrint the 5'day of Dec. But I have vista windows now and am unable to use it. (SAD)
