Viso FBT is a mobile application that enables full-body tracking (FBT) for virtual reality (VR) experiences using just a smartphone. Designed primarily for VRChat users, it utilizes the phone's camera to capture body movements and translate them into a virtual avatar in real time. This innovative approach allows users to engage in VR with a more immersive full-body presence without the need for specialized hardware. The app's straightforward setup requires positioning the smartphone to ensure the entire body is visible, typically using a stable surface or tripod, making it accessible for a wide range of users.
The application offers compatibility with VRChat on both Meta Quest and SteamVR platforms. It is free to use, making full-body tracking available to anyone with a smartphone. For optimal performance, users are encouraged to maintain a well-lit environment and ensure an unobstructed view of their body. While the tracking accuracy may depend on camera quality and device capabilities, ongoing updates aim to enhance the app's performance and expand its compatibility with additional VR games.
