Network hog?
PJL500July 3, 2015
Pros
Cannot remember.
Cons
In activity monitor it was the most active network hog and I only used it as a demo a couple of years ago. It is still communicating all the time? Uninstalled immediately.
Summary
Not for everyone.
Allows iTunes to burn virtual discs in OS X Mavericks
chrs2December 28, 2013
Pros
Does what it claims. Works very quickly (MacBook Pro with SSD) - *much* faster than mucking around with actual CDs. Very simple interface via a new icon in the menu bar. Free trial works well. Works fine in OS X Mavericks.
Cons
Virtual discs are limited in size to standard CDs. I would have liked if larger discs (e.g. DVD or bigger) were possible, but this was not critical for me.
Summary
One click on 'New Media' inserts a (virtual) blank CD for burning. The disc can then be re-ripped before ejecting, if desired. Ejecting the discs prompts where to save the image. The disc image can be re-opened later.
Couldn't get it to work with OSX 10.7.4

Pros
None so far
Cons
Clicked on New Media and...nothing happened. Unable to create a new disk image. The "Open Existing Media" seemed to work in that it popped up a dialog box, but of course without being able to create new media I couldn't really test existing media...
Summary
Seems like a great idea, and I'm glad it helped for somebody, but version 1.2 did not work for me under OS X 10.7.4
Does what it says, provides a virtual CD writer

Pros
Very quick on a SSD It just works
Cons
Have to restart the computer to complete the installation :)
Summary
I used it to burn and re-import some songs from iTunes and it is much quicker than burning them on a real medium.
Warning...Save your $$$!!!

Pros
great idea
Cons
doesn't work
Summary
There are only two reasons why I leave reviews: either I love the product and want to preach its virtues or I hate the product and want to warn others. I can honestly say that this is the first time I have felt ripped off by an OS X developer. In short, this software does not work for long. I downloaded the demo and that proved stable and functional. However, when I purchased the license, the app stopped working after about a week and reverted to the nag of "Buy Now" or "Quit" in the drop down menu. I contacted the developer who advised that I must have downloaded an "old" version (I had previously downloaded directly from their website). Reinstalled the app and that resolved the problem for about two days this time. Several re-installations later and the app just doesn't work. Very disappointing! I've given up and written it off completely.
