VintaSoft Barcode .NET SDK is the professional .NET barcode reader and barcode generator component for software developer. It recognizes and writes 1D & 2D barcodes in digital images and PDF. The Barcode SDK is delivered also for WPF, ASP.NET MVC and Xamarin.Android environments.

The barcode reader algorithm recognizes barcodes from image object, image file, image stream or image resources of PDF document, identifies the type of found barcode, returns the string value and confidence to the value of each recognized barcodes. The barcode generator algorithm creates either a barcode raster image with specified size and resolution or a barcode vector appearance.

Supported postal barcode types: Australian Post, Deutsche Post Identcode, Deutsche Post Leitcode, DHL AWB, Dutch KIX, FedEx Ground 96, Intelligent Mail, Mailmark 4-State C, Mailmark 4-State L, Planet, Postnet, Royal Mail, Swiss PostParcel. This barcode recognition SDK also implements 3 barcode print quality tests based on: ISO/IEC 15415 for 2D matrix barcodes (Aztec, DataMatrix, Han Xin, QR), ISO/IEC 15416 for all supported 1D linear barcodes and PDF417 barcode symbologies, and provides advanced document cleanup functions (noise removal, smoothing, automatic threshold detection, erode) to improve results of barcode recognition in .NET. SDK was tested and has examples of use in Visual Studio .NET 2005-2017 for VB.NET, C# and ASP.NET.
