  1. Great value 2. Awesome features such as ability to capture Names, ID Number, complete address, sex, age, etc. 3. Works with all 50 states 4. Fast and accurate (unlike OCR products!)

  Summary

  I manage a busy bar that sells liquor and tobacco products. We have to protect our establishment by verifying age of customers. After substantial research and trying out an OCR product we discovered VeriAge Wizz. This is simply the best product that we could find. We purchased a bundle that includes special ID card reader and software, which we run on our POS computer. Unlike OCR the scanner reads machine readable magnetic stripe or 2D barcodes (from all 50 states) - this is much better and faster than OCR technology we tried. The total cost was about $600 including shipping and 18 months warranty. They also provide updates and connection to internet is NOT required. There was no contract or per scan fee of any sort. Technical support (via 1-800 number) was great and quick to response to our installation question. Reader comes with 6' USB cable which was convenient for us. They have a mobile ID card reader too! I would strongly recommended this solution to anyone who is looking for Age Verification solutions. Thank you Nautilusware!
