After using this software for sometime, the customer service, as well as reliability of the software continuously gets worse. On several different occasions, they decided to do maintenance in the middle of a workday, which renders the software inaccessible, which also means you can't access color formulas, client phone numbers, etc. However, don't think that "customer service" will make it any better- they are very rude,disrespectful, and totally apathetic to the fact that you're losing money, meanwhile they are still charging you full price for services that they aren't even providing. I can not stress enough that you should seek out other options for software, even if it actually means manual bookkeeping- it'd be worth it! Seriously!

Summary
Our salon has been using this system for the last 3 years. It has gone smoothly overall, but as of the last 2-3 months it has been one issue after another. One of the things that you pay for is the reminder text messages (after 3 years your clients tend to rely on them), those have been sporadic at best, with about half of our clientele NOT receiving them.
As a provider using this particular system, I also rely on the text messages to know when a client has been scheduled or when an appointment has been canceled. I stopped receiving texts about a month and a half ago and was told by support through Vagaro that it was my cell phone providers (AT&T) fault. Then we began seeing a trend of people not receiving the text messages OR their reminder emails (depends on what they are set up to receive). AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, Comcast (for emails)...it can't be all the providers, right?? This has still not been resolved and actually cost one of the stylists a new client. The client had scheduled an appointment with the stylist, showed up and the stylist wasn't there. The stylist never received a text message or an email, besides the fact that somehow the client was able to book an appointment that had been previously blocked out by the stylist. What a mess!
Besides all of that, I had a client text me last night that she had had an appointment with me for yesterday, but she was nowhere on the schedule. She then messaged me the reminder from Vagaro to show the appointment had been made in February. POOF...it was gone! It is not even anywhere in the history of her appointments. Had she not saved that, I would have been tempted to think she was confused.
She then asked me about her appointment coming up on the 30th and why was it gone. I saw her appointment on the calendar, but on her end the time frame of her appointment was still availalbe. I had her see if she could reschedule it, which she could and did. I actually received a text for that appointment that was made. BUT WAIT, this morning I double checked and POOF...it was gone. No appointment, no appointment in her history, just like it was NEVER there.
Vagaro has offered NO compensation for ANYTHING, including reimbursement for the service for the last couple of months. Myself and another stylist have made multiple calls and it was not until the call I made 3 days ago, that they have even gotten on top of anything. They are still blaming the providers, people's cell phones, etc... They didn't even have notes down so I had to repeat things I had gone over multiple times before. ARGH!!!!
If you want an online booking system, USE A DIFFERENT ONE!! RUN FROM VAGARO!!!

I have my appointment book with me at all times. Customer book with me online and I get a text message and the appointment shows up on my phone. The app sends automatic email and text reminders to my customer. I can honestly say that I have had not issues with No Shows since I got it. Customer service is the best. Never had any issues.
