Display any file in vertical hexadecimal format.
Uvhd is a data investigation utility that will display any file in vertical hexadecimal (3 line groups of characters, zones,& digits). uvhd is especially effective for files containing binary or packed decimal data (such as EBCDIC files from mainframes). Options for fixed record length files (without LineFeeds) or variable length text records with LineFeeds. Option for EBCDIC files to translate the character line to ASCII, while showing the original EBCDIC zones & digits. Functions include: Browse, Search, Select, Tally, Update,& Scan/Replace.
