Flash forward 50 years to the time following the destruction of the Skaarj home world by the Dimensional Rifts. The entire Skaarj race has vanished without a trace. No one is certain whether or not the race simply died out and their bodies were destroyed by the plague of Dimensional Rifts, or if the Skaarj race sought refuge in some alternate dimension. What is certain, however, is that the remains of their planet have become a gold mine for a certain human corporation (see screen shots).

Over the past ten years, a conglomeration of weapon- and spacecraft-building companies known as the United For Earth corporation (U4E) has been slowly plundering the scarred Skaarj home world for all kinds of new technology and biological treasures that have accumulated on its surface from the Dimensional Rifts. The amount of materials being recovered was already overwhelming their labs and testing facilities, when one of the company presidents suggested a more proactive testing policy: The U4E Tournaments.

The original Mod had 27 new weapons, a great menu system, and works wonderfully on networks. With every update, even more weapons and enhancements are added. In order to use this Mod, you will need the latest patch for UT.

First of all, lets understand that graphics aren't everything. Don't judge a book by it's cover, a meal by it's ingrediants, a game by it's graphics or you'll miss out on great books, dinners and games. Like this one. I'm used to not perfect graphics, If I want perfect graphics, I'll watch Final Fantasy on DVD. Unbalance weapons, who gives a sh*t? Ditch the crappy weapons, load up on fatals, have fun!!! Finally, it's excellent for practice. Do what the critic does: Cheat! Turn on the invincibility and slaughter people with new weapons! Turn FAT BOY on and just look at yourself!!!!

This mod does have its problems, the huge download size being one of them, but it makes up for all these by bringing some variation into the now familiar world of Unreal Tournament. I have read complaints that the weapons are unbalanced or too powerful. I think this needed to be the case to make each weapon different from those already packaged with the game. Do you really want more of the same? It would only lead to you tiring of it quickly. Some of the new weapons are fantastic, others just average, but the standards of production are high and the new features accessible. I would recommend it, Unreal Tournament without this mod now is just boring.
