UNJSPF Digital CE for iOS

The current paper-form based process for UNJSPF Certificate of Entitlement, to prove a beneficiaries eligibility for continued pension, caters to over 70 thousand beneficiaries located in more than 190 countries. As is uses postal services, the process is very slow and cumbersome.

This is a pilot programme to use mobile and blockchain technology for generating Digital Certificate of Entitlement.

The App uses facial biometric technology, liveness check and geo-location to submit a digital certificate of entitlement to a blockchain. Use of location help the UNJSPF provide services to the Track 2 beneficiaries.

All user date is stored securely either in the App or in data centres protected by UN Privileges and Immunity. No cloud-based services are used for processing of user information.

During the pilot, the paper-form CE process will continue so that the beneficiaries are not denied their pension.
