U.motion is a visualisation system for house and building automations that have been constructed with a KNX basis. You can use the U.motion Control app to control and monitor this KNX installation and further functions via your mobile device. You can gain access to your building functions via the local network (Wifi) or via the Internet from any global location.U.motion Control serves as a client device and can be connected to your KNX installation via the U.motion KNX Server/KNX Server Plus.Functions- Lighting control: on/off, dimming- Shading control: blinds with or without height/ slat positioning, roller shutters- HVAC: operating modes, set-point temperature, actual temperature, fan level, air conditioning on/off, - Scenarios- Recording/comparing energy consumption levels/turning loads on/off- Weather information- Video monitoringConfiguration and start-upU.motion Control visualises the configuration of a U.motion server as a client device; no further programming is necessary. Once you have entered the appropriate network parameters and log-in data (e.g. IP address, server port, ), you can control your building immediately.RequirementU.motion Control requires a communication link to one of the following U.motion servers:- U.motion KNX Server- U.motion KNX Server Plus- U.motion KNX Server Plus, Touch 10- U.motion KNX Server Plus, Touch 15The connection can be established via the local network using Wifi or via the Internet, e.g. by means of VPN (access method depends on device).NotesIf you are connecting the app to a U.motion server for the first time then a one-off transfer of all relevant data will be made to the app. The duration of this process depends on the transfer speed and the scope of the configuration.
